georgia's race has been getting increasingly tighter & i actually have a bit of hope for the normally blood red state. most students were switching b/c they knew their vote wouldn't change things in their home states (utah, massachusetts, california, etc.) but it could actually make a difference here.
anyway, my friend & i set up shop next to the on-campus farmer's market and started chatting with the farmer next to us. he was a big Obama supporter & since we were "doing a public service" he gave us free apples. then, when he was closing up shop, he left us each with eggplants, several tomatoes, and 2 huge bunches of basil. i'm going to have to be politically active more often!

Nice--political progress and free veggies. Doesn't get much better than that.
Don't forget you owe lazy me some papers. McCain needs my help, but I can't let you know that.
